Angela
Angela is amazing! She is our lead Irvine sitter/walker. She is very detail oriented and organized. She has been a business owner and court reporter. She has an 11 year old Akita, one 18 year old cat, and three baby kittens! She told us the reason she wanted to work with us is because she understands the responsibility and care that goes into each and every special bundle of joy! Her animals are her children, and she knows how precious people's pets are.

Justine is very much an animal person. The animals come running to her and immediately love her on sight. Her calmness puts dogs and cats at ease and even the most shy animals will warm up to her and love being with her. Justine “Tina” has a very diverse background. She has worked as a police dispatcher, EMT, restaurant owner and more. We are very lucky she has joined our team of pet sitters and dog walkers.
Cynthia
Cynthia has a talent for understanding the individual needs of each dog she walks. Her motivation and drive is beyond compare. An avid runner makes her the purrfect sitter for high energy dogs. Her background includes Event Coordinator, Design and restaurant management. Cynthia brings out the best in all those around her, however her most important quality is her love for animals.
Rachel was also a client who shared our passion for animals and made a great fit by joining our team a few years ago. Luckily, we still get to take care of her adorable kitties, Lola and Pippi! Rachel has a huge heart, and besides loving our clients and her own cats, she also cares for two stray kitties in her neighborhood. She is wonderful with dogs both large and small. She has a soft voice and a calm demeanor and animals seem to be drawn to her.

Kelly started as our client a few years ago with a special needs dog. She told us Animal Amour was very different from other pet sitters so she decided to become a part of our team. Kelly's background includes being a dog handler and she owns snakes, iguanas and two Pit Bull dogs. Her expert reptile knowledge added a new element that was needed in the company.
Emily
Emily spent three years as a pet-sitter in Seattle and loved the job so much that she found us when she moved to OrangeCounty a few years ago, and decided she wanted to work for Animal Amour. She has two big, lovable dogs, Blazer and Kira, who have been with her for ten years and make her life very interesting! We are so happy to have Emily join our family!
Lorraine
Lorraine has had experience as a pet sitter while living in Southern California and on the Big Island of Hawaii where she also served as a volunteer at the Rainbow Sanctuary for abused and abandoned cats and dogs. In July of 2008 she was granted a certificate from the Assistance Dog Institute after completing a Service Dog Instructor Training Seminar. She is also a Licensed Massage Therapist who is wanting to extend her massage skills to help bring relief to the stiff joints and sore muscles of both active and geriatric dogs. Being in the presence of animals and caring for them fills her heart with great love and gratitude.

Please welcome Suzie to our administrative team! Suzie is assisting in our office part-time and helping with billing while she goes to school. She has 2 kitties, Cleo and Rocky, and recently rescued an adorable dog named Riley. She loves animals and hopes to be a vet someday. We are happy she joined our team and if you get an invoice or email from her, please feel free to say hello!
We are thrilled to announce the addition of a new dog trainer to our team! Patty is an experienced dog trainer with a great attitude who is straight to the point, smart, and amazing with dogs. She has all the same philosophies and principles we feel are important. We have already received tons of positive emails reviewing her services and our clients are extremely happy with her. She fit right into our family and we couldn't be happier!
Joni Oldfield - Owner
Joni and Kelly are co-owners and partners in Animal Amour, Inc. and PAWSitive Obedience...but they are also much more! They are mother and daughter too.
Joni started Animal Amour in 2001 after searching endlessly for a great pet sitter for her kitties. After interviewing many sitters, it was clear that there was a need out there, and who better to fill that role than someone who loves animals so much! She has previous management experience and also worked at a vet. Her knowledge of animal behavior and her love for creatures of all kind blended purrfectly into this industry, and her business bloomed over the years. Soon she was able to bring on a team of qualified and exceptional sitters.
In 2006, she aquired a dog training company, PAWsitive Obedience, and incorporated into Animal Amour. Because of that, the whole team learned so much about different breeds, personalities, behaviors, etc. and can now incorporate training into our dog walking should the client request it. We can also reinforce any other training your dog may have had in the past, just let us know.
In 2007, Joni's daughter Kelly joined the company. Kelly has a background in many industries and also left her corporate job to work with animals. She helps run Animal Amour and also runs PAWsitive Obedience, finding she has an interest in training too. Kelly has three cats of her own...Jack, Tabitha, and Tigger.
